Your whole team can run SealDeal from Slack, Teams or Telegram.

Reps prospect and log calls, managers approve drafts and reassign deals, the VP reads the forecast, pre-sales answers the questionnaire, and finance watches the pipeline, all from the chat they already have open. Below are real conversations, one per teammate, with the exact messages they type, then the full help: every command, message and button, app by app.

Commands, lists, buttons, confirms and the rules about who can do what are the same in all three apps, because they run the same code on the same records. Slack and Teams add dialogs, file upload, personal messages and a few shortcuts that Telegram does not have; those are spelled out at the end.

What Slack and Teams do that Telegram does differently

Telegram has commands, lists, buttons, confirms, questions and alerts, the same as the other two. It has no dialogs, no file upload and no personal messages, so the tasks below work differently there (editing and answering by reply) or not at all.

Where Telegram differs from Slack and Teams
Editing a draftSlack opens a modal and Teams a dialog, prefilled with the subject and body. Telegram sends the current text (tap it to copy) and asks you to reply with the new version; a first line "Subject: …" changes the subject. Either way the draft stays in the approval queue. edit-draft <id>: <new text> does the same by typing, in all three.
Answering an RFP questionSlack and Teams open a dialog. Telegram asks you to reply to its prompt with the answer, then offers Approve it: the same result, one message at a time.
Uploading a questionnaireDrop the file into a Slack DM. On Teams and Telegram, upload it in SealDeal, then work every question from chat.
Rescheduling a booked meetingThe meeting booked alert carries Reschedule in Slack and Teams, which opens a dialog. Telegram shows the alert without it.
Personal messagesSlack and Teams DM each person their morning briefing, their urgent next steps and their drafts waiting. Telegram sends no personal messages: approval cards go to the org chat, and only when an admin turns them on.
Saving a chat message to SealDealIn Teams, Send to SealDeal on any message saves it as a note on the contact or deal you pick. Slack and Telegram have no equivalent.
The slash commandSlack has /outbound, whose replies only you see. Telegram accepts a leading / but answers in the chat.
Follow-ups after you start workSlack posts when enrolled drafts are ready, or says why none were written. On Teams and Telegram, check drafts.
Linking peopleSlack links people by email automatically, and Teams with one tap or from the channel roster. On Telegram each person signs in to SealDeal, generates a link code and sends it to the bot.

Linking: who SealDeal thinks you are

Every message runs as the SealDeal seat your chat account is linked to, with that seat's rights. An unlinked account can do nothing.

How SealDeal reads what you type

  • The first word picks the command and the rest is what it acts on: deals summit searches open deals for "summit". Most commands have a second name, listed under Also.
  • Names can be partial. When two records match, SealDeal shows a "which one?" picker; buttons carry the exact record, so a tap never guesses.
  • Dates are read the way people write them: Friday, Dec 15, end of month, in 2 weeks. Replies spell them out: Fri, Nov 6, 2026.
  • A message that ends in ? goes to the assistant as a question, even when it starts with a command word.
  • Lists show the first 8 rows and say how to narrow them, such as deals <stage or rep>.
  • Sending, enrolling, moving a deal, suppressing an address, changing an owner and rewriting with AI show Confirm and Cancel first. Only the person who asked can confirm.
  • A rep who tries to approve is told it is a manager's call; a viewer is told the seat is view-only. Nothing changes in either case.
  • Commands run with no AI model. Rewriting, drafting replies, drafting a held contact, answering an RFP, the drafts an enroll starts and plain questions use AI.

Common questions

What does headless mean here?+

The work happens in the chat app your team already has open. Every command reads and writes the same records as the web app, with the same rules about who can do what, so a deal moved in Teams is moved on the board.

Can a message send an email by accident?+

No. Nothing reaches a prospect until a manager approves the draft, and anything that sends, uses AI or is hard to undo shows Confirm and Cancel first. Only the person who asked can confirm.

Do I need to learn the commands?+

Type commands in any chat for the full list. Most work starts from a button under a list or an alert, and a plain question goes to the assistant.

What if my chat account is not linked?+

SealDeal replies that your account is not linked yet and to ask an admin to link you, and does nothing else. It never guesses who you are.

Which plan is it on?+

Every plan, Free included.
